Okay. Hitting the wall. Want something indulgent to eat. Want a bottle of wine. Want a big hunk of cheese and bread. Want a cream puff. Want to lie around and not move for several days.
AUGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Oh dear.
Well. I'm eating my little chicken/veggie thing for supper. With some avocado on top.
Haha at the moment I'm enjoying a rather ridiculous high from raw vegetables and fruits.
AS I explained to someoneearlier in the day, it feels exactly like your ribcage becoming concious and hugging your vital organs with its spiney narrow filled fingers....and it feels SO GOOD.
This moment of craving will pass.
It did for me.
dive into something that fascinats you to take your mind off dieting.
This craving thing hit me out of nowhere on Sunday and hasn't quite left yet, although it does feel less intense. Stay with what you're doing, drink some tea or some coffee or (my favorite) Perrier with a squeeze of lime. It'll get better!
Deborah, I've been feeling it more these past few days too! I keep thinking THIS JUST ISN'T AN OPTION, kind of as a mantra. Then, I try to divert my attention to something else. You can do it, remember what Patrick says - you'll see that the cravings are not stronger than your will power, the more you let the thoughts come and go without acting on them.
We seem to all be going through it this week! In my dreams ive been eating cheese and lollies, and I feel bad when I wake up! haha. But keep going we will make it through!
Yeah, I actually made my Grandma's potato salad last night for cook-out at the springs today. I didn't eat any of it, other then just taste test a miniscule amount. :( Very sad.

ReplyDeleteThe more you resist, the easier it will get.
Hi, I am focusing. As Jenny says, I think the more I resist, the easier it gets. But I still don't like lunges!!!
